I woke up this morning at 5:20 AM. It's Labor Day today in Lithuania so this meant no school.
Here's what I did to advance my organist career today: 1. I got up and went for a 10.000 step walk around the woods during which I recorded two bonus trainings for my blogging for organists mini course and one for Secrets of Organ Playing FB page. 2. I saw a family of podiceps with a couple of little ones on her back and 5 or 6 swimming around her in the river. 3. When I returned I downloaded those FB videos to my computer and uploaded to my YT channel. 4. Then I finished setting up this mini-course on Mailchimp. It's all done and ready to be sent automatically to subscribers. As of this writing there are 60 organists who want to succeed in getting more opportunities to play organ recitals who signed up for it. More will come soon. 5. At home I wrote a blog post and practiced Eb Major Prelude, BWV 552/1 by Bach which was live-streamed to FB. 6. On LinkedIn I invited a few organists to join my network and to the one that had accepted the invitation, I sent a message inviting to be my guest on the Secrets of Organ Playing Podcast. 7. While at home I made another live-streaming video this time while drawing a picture. 8. My evening was spent recording a podcast conversation with Wyatt Smith during which I draw some notes (see the above picture) using a ballpoint pen and pastel and shared them online. 9. Ausra also had a lesson with Victoria during which I draw some notes and shared online. 10. Now it's 10:26 PM, I'm finishing this post and ready to go to bed. What have you done to advance your organist career today?
