Why do people have high self-esteem? Because they feel appreciated enough.

Why do people feel appreciated? Because somebody said thank you to them a lot.

Why would somebody say thank you to you? Because you did something nice and helpful to them.

You see, if you have a low self-confidence and self-esteem, the first step is to help someone.

Then they will thank you and you will feel appreciated. Because of this your self-confidence and self-esteem will start to rise.

This is the first step. The second step is repeat, repeat, repeat.

Help as many people as you can.

Now since technology and the internet is an amplification tool, you can help the most people by doing helpful and inspiring things online.

For example, if you write a helpful article, blog post, answer somebody’s question or record a video in a way that will solve their problem or inspire them, this will boost your self-esteem.

Because it will make somebody’s day brighter and they will thank you for this (at least mentally, if not literally).

If you want even higher self-confidence - teach something online.

Don’t need to do anything fancy, just simple how to do something that excites you would be wonderful.

Do it long enough and your self-esteem will be unbreakable.

A side-effect of this: you will build your platform online and become an expert and empower yourself.

Another way to boost your self-esteem is to say thank you to somebody. Even mentally. Do this now:

Write down 10 things you feel grateful for today.

Let me help you get started:
  1. For having the privilege to ask this question about your self-esteem. 95 percent of people don’t even bother to think about this. You are in the top 5 percent. Congratulations!
  2. For reading this answer and finding it helpful (or not helpful)
  3. etc.

Let me know if this helps.
