Special snowflake. We all feel this. We all want to be unique and appreciated.
I don’t think this is bad. This is what it is. Here’s the thing you have to understand though: Just because you feel like you are meant for something great, it doesn’t mean you will achieve something great. Just because you feel deep inside of you that power, it doesn’t mean you will act upon it. Millions of people feel this calling for greatness within them yet most of them try to silence this voice. And then they wonder why they are irrelevant. Why they are easily replaced with someone who is cheaper and faster that them. If you want to achieve something great, don’t wait for your dream job. Start building your platform. Without it you can’t influence anybody, nobody will pay attention to what you want to say, even if you say great things. Do one thing today, tomorrow and every day after that which would eventually create a chance for others to believe in you, to offer you that dream job. In fact, if you want a dream job, create it now. You don’t have to have anybody’s permission to start acting like you were meant for something great. Period. It starts with helping people. Look around at topics that fascinate you. Can you answer one question a day in a way that inspires others? Or ten. This maybe enough to get you on track of achieving something great in the long run. Let me know if this helps.
